…yeah we don’t follow this.
for us, it’s more like this:
“eat mini wheats for breakfast, peanut butter and honey sandwiches out of our sandwich boxes for lunch, and a gourmet meal for dinner.”
yup, that’s more like it.
so brooke and i decided to cook together and share food.
and man do we like our dinners.
so on thursday night, we decided to make salmon.
because, well we love it.
but we’d never made it by ourselves before.
but we’re pretty much amazing chefs.
{note: because we spent so much time making it fancy, we decided to take a picture. but before we took this picture, brooke changed her shirt, i covered all the crapola on our table with some towels, pulled the flowers out from behind everything, and put the bag of apples next to the flowers—the apples make us look healthy. plus, it’s fall.}
we tossed in some soy sauce when we were cooking it.
which wasn’t in the recipe my mom gave us, by the way.
aka we experimented.
it was pretty much the most yummalicious meal ever.
look how fancy it looks.
yeah we kinda put our hands creepily around our plates on purpose. (brooke has a thing with creepy hands in her pictures)
but look how aesthetically pleasing it looks.
we should go on a cooking show.
we would dominate like no one has dominated before.
we’re just that good.
so let me tell you a little something about brooke.
yeah we’re basically the same person.
and yes i mean that as literally as possible.
both of us are from the desert.
she’s from vegas and i’m from gilbert.
they are basically the same place.
(as we were driving through vegas, i seriously thought we were in gilbert)
she grew up the oldest of 7 and i grew up the youngest of 10.
meaning we were pretty much raised the same way.
we watched most of the same movies, we had the same rules, etc, etc.
and when one of us starts laughing, the other one of us knows exactly why she’s laughing.
we think the same way.
the other day, someone made a random comment, and it was kind of similar to a movie quote—we both started quoting it.
at the same time.
also, sometimes one of us will voice our opinion or what we’ve been thinking about.
and the other one was about to say the same thing.
also, sometimes we dress the same.
ok so that’s only happened once.
but we’ve started sharing sweatshirts.
also, we’ve both seen willow and lady hawke.
that is key.
i would say it’s like growing up with the sister we never had.
but we both have sisters.
so that wouldn’t even work.
but it’s the same idea.
i love brooke.
we spend a lot of time together and she’s one of my most favoritest people in the whole world.
she’s just so amazing :)

Haha! I. Love. You!!! This may or may not have been one of the best meals/nights of my young life. Gourmet Chefs Brooke and Tenery, baby! Fried fish. The asian term for fish that is fried. Also, I wish we had taken a picture of the day when we dressed exactly the same. But I guess we don't need proof. We know we are the same person. Let's go save the world sometime.
