today should be a national holiday.
why, you may ask?
because 23 years ago today, daniel james pew was born.

{this is the strapping daniel…in the flesh.}
except i like to call him daniel rocky pew.
or just daniel.
or rocky.
or pew.
ok i don’t actually call him pew.
but daniel and rocky, yes.
and yes i set the rocky theme song as his ringtone.
anywho, today is his birthday.
so i wanted to give a little tribute to him.
he was a little sad that he was left out of yesterday’s post.
but it wasn’t his day yesterday.
so he gets one today. all of his own.
he better be happy.
why?

so daniel is in the army.
it’s pretty much amazing.
except he’s gonna leave us soon.
and by that i mean he’s moving.
not dying.
regardless…
i’m really sad that he’s going.
except that he won’t try stealing my snuggie anymore.
but he truly is a great friend and i love hanging out with him.
he’s fun to talk to and he has the greatest movie collection.
plus he can recite the entire joseph smith movie in spanish.
i’ve only known him for a few weeks, but he’s honestly one of the most amazing people that i know.
he’ll be the bomb diggity at whatever he does.
i know that for a fact.

so daniel, i know you’re reading this.
good luck with anything and everything you do.
i don’t know what else to say besides
you will be amazing.
