i know i need to someday discuss my obsession with anne of green gables.
but that day is not today.

i feel like i should address the recent changes on my blog.
aka the gnome.
that cute little guy, right over there on the right.
isn’t he just the most precious little thing?
i should probably pause and mention the time when bret was going to russia and needed to get presents for a russian student, a professor, and the russian family he was staying with.
he wanted to get all the presents from the bookstore, so they’d all be byu-related.
so we were walking around, trying to get some inspiration.
i saw a byu garden gnome.
i almost convinced bret to get it for the family.
(he decided he could have made it work. he could have made up some story about how we use the gnomes to ward off the evil spirits that are all around byu…)
yeah it was then i realized that i have some strange obsession with gnomes.
so when i saw that blog background…
well, i couldn’t resist.
i mean, how could you? :)
