“okay. make it a triple.” – woody wilkins

february 27th was easily one of the best (and most anticipated) days of all time.
i had officially finished one of my first block classes the night before,
and that afternoon i studied and took the final for my second first block class.
so when i went home, i was one happy girl.
it wasn’t that i didn’t enjoy those two classes—they were actually kinda good.
but here’s the thing.
i will never complain about having 8 extra hours of time a week.
plus i am now down to solamente three classes.
aka heaven.
except i still might fail a couple of them.
but let’s not talk about that.
as you might recall, tayte got diagnosed with mono.
funnily enough, that was three weeks ago today.
man how time flies.
so life has been pretty laid back (aka pathetic) around these parts.
we keep our partying to a minimum, meaning we just sit at home and watch our tv shows. (ok i’ll admit—yes we watch the bachelor. get over it.)
so this past weekend was kind of a big weekend for us.
so here’s the thing.
there are things (movies) from my childhood that most people don’t appreciate,
so i’m pretty hesitant to share them with just anybody.
we have to make it to that point in our friendship where i think they are worthy.
even then i’m still pretty cautious.
well, we made it to that point this past weekend.
yeah we’re already married, so he should have already gotten to that point.
whatever.
you just don’t understand.
i decided to let tayte in on my childhood memory known as…
condorman!
imgres
it’s probably michael crawford’s best performance ;)
anyway, as we were watching it, tayte fell asleep.
you know, cuz he “has mono…”
he actually was pretty tired, so after his nap and a little game night, we finished it.
he thought it was great, so i guess i’ll keep him :)
{side note: i showed this movie to my best friend, rylee tallulah carling. she still doesn’t appreciate it. i haven’t been as quick to trust her since.}

I don't think Bret has every forgiven me for not enjoying The Great Race as much as I was supposed to lol

You know, the minute I saw this post I knew there was going to be some sort of guilt trip. Thanks for being so dependable :)
